RAMONA GARDENS
Nestled near to the foothills of San Bernadino Mountains is Rancho Cucamonga. RAMONA GARDENS is a charming hidden venue in the Inland Empire's picturesque Alta Loma.

On one acre of open land, professional landscapers have created one of the Inland Empire's most Imaginative and private reserve of rare and beautiful trees and flowers to create private sancturaries within the lush environment.

Al Swift, one of the first Fire Commissioners in the County, was very civic minded. In the 1920s, he had a beautiful Georgian house built on his ranch on Base Line calling the ranch, Alta Loma Rancho. Interested in fine horses he brought to the ranch his stable of horses and his groom.
Many years later the property was sold to developers to install a strip mall. The venerable house was destined to become a project upon which the the fire department was to practice. History has it, that a high-ranking fire official decided to save the house and bought the building for $500. He had the house lifted off its foundation and moved it to its present location on Ramona Avenue, where securely, it resides set back from the street in solitude and tranquility.
In 1988, a trained landscape designer and a dealer in palm trees, bought the Georgian House and began to ply his trade to the land surrounding the house. He spent the next 18 years bringing it to the exciting point of perfection that now exists as Ramona Gardens. come see the "private rooms and secret gardens" that make this location so accessible to your needs.
